I am an elementary art teacher & consume this video while teaching Claude Monet. I never tire of watching it, & neither do the kids. I spend it in my third grade curriculum, but kids in grades 4-6 expect to seek it again & again! I also spend the book of the same name which is nearly identical to the video. It is 30 minutes long, objective apt for young attention spans, and allows time at the demolish of class to fabricate lily pads & flowers “from Monet’s Garden”! My celebrated lesson.

I exhaust this video in an “Arts Alive” presentation I do for third graders. I have aged it for 3 years and it is VERY well received by the classes. It really brings Monet’s paintings alive and shows them that art serene lives. It is a combo of cartoon chronicle, mild photos of Monet’s works and live-action video of his home in Giverny. A perfect choice for any school arts program of a gargantuan video for kids of any age.
